Georgina Mcleny, una investigadora que vive en Washington, está trabajando en un caso de asesinato cometido hace un año. Al principio, no tenía ninguna prueba pero este asesinato se repetí al cabo de un año. Georgina descubre que las dos víctimas murieron de la misma forma y en el mismo día, 15/1/02 y 15/1/03. No hay ningún sospechoso, pero la investigadora reúne datos de las dos víctimas, hasta que una llamada misteriosa, una semana después del asesinato, lo cambia todo.
